I'm happy to introduce Warkanoid - our first
effort to bring some fresh air into a very conservative area. I talk about
Classical Arcade Games. Moreover, I talk about the best of arcade classics.
I talk about Arkanoid.
You ask me: what is it all about? It it
all about one more boring Arkanoid (known as well as Breakout) clone?
I say "No, not at all!!!". Not "one more", not a "clone"
and by no means "boring"! We did our best to make this game
really unique and deserving the time you spend playing it.
In simple words: because anyone needs a
game. Anyone needs a minute of relaxation, a minute of concentration and
a minute of pure entertainment. A good game gives it all. And a game idea
that attracts people for more than 20 years if definitely a good game
idea. And a good game idea needs just one more thing to became a brilliant
game: a proper implementation. Nothing should be passed over: nor the
gameplay, nor the graphics, nor the sound, not any little thing. See the
Features page to ensure that
we've paid attention to everything.
The idea is straightforward. You see colorful
bricks at the top of the gamefield, and your object is to destroy all
the bricks by hitting them with a bouncing ball. Though this may sound
too simple don't consider this as an easy task. There are variety of things
that can either help you in completing it or prevent you from doing this
- funny power-ups, insidious enemies, powerful weapons, magnets and much
more. Even if the above-mentioned features don't grab you just take a
look at Screenshots page
to see how nice modern graphics and visual effects can turn the game into
the state of art. And, of course, all the Warkanoid Features
are at your service to enrich your arcade experience dramatically.
